About
Call me Goose!
That, of course, isn’t my real name, but it’s the name I go by online. The Goosequill is the moniker under which I create third-party content for Dungeons & Dragons.
My Backstory
An avid Dungeons & Dragons players, game design graduate and freelance TTRPG writer from the Netherlands. I first started playing back in 2018 and published my first homebrew in 2022, primarily as a way to get feedback on my graduation project (Valka’s Guide to Vleurland). Now that I have graduated, my full-time job in software development doesn’t provide the same creative outlet that college did, so I now create homebrew to scratch that creative itch.
What DO You Make?
I write third-party content for Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition, ranging from magic items and spells to species and (sub)classes. Everything I write can be found here, on Reddit, or on
The Homebrewery (if made using that tool).
Does it cost anything?
Other than time and effort, no! Everything I publish on my website or on other platforms is 100% free, and will continue to be free. I already get paid to write for a third-party publisher, and I have no desire to charge for my personally published work. If you wish to support me, an upvote or kind comment on Reddit will do just that.
How Can I Contact You?
The fastest (and easiest) way to contact me is to shoot me a private message on Reddit. I’ll be happy to answer any questions you have there!
As always:
Cheers,
